CF Raffle Winners

As part of my fundraising effort for the CCFF, a raffle was organized with great prizes donated from a number of very generous individuals and organizations. A total of $1300 was raised from this raffle! Thank you for all of your support!

Karma Wednesdays in Support of Cystic Fibrosis Month

Hot Yoga on 20th is continuing to provide support in May by donating the proceeds from its Karma Wednesday classes to the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
This generous support is in addition to the two passes for a week of unlimited yoga classes that Hot Yoga on 20th has already provided towards the CF raffle to be held on May 30th at the Great Strides Walk.
As in April, in addition to supporting the CCFF with their donation, each person attending a Karma Wednesday class will have their name entered in the CF raffle!

Frosty Dreams of a Marathon in May

The grand prize for the CF raffle, a painting by local artist, Tim Brown, entitled "Frosty Dreams of a Marathon in May" can now be viewed at Brainsport until the end of May. I just hope for the actual marathon there will be sunshine and NO SNOW!!!

Raffle tickets ($5 each or 3 for $10) are available at Brainsport, or please contact me directly. There are a number of great prizes to be won, and all the proceeds go towards the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Fundraising Raffle for Cystic Fibrosis

We officially have a raffle license and I've printed, cut and stapled 600 raffle tickets....just need to number them all now!

Brainsport Donates in Support of the CFFC!

Brainsport The Running Store has provided an incredibly generous $180 gift certificate towards the purchase of any Brainsport or Pedestrian shoes!!!

Brainsport has also donated a SIGG water bottle for the CF raffle.

Puppets from Wide Open Support the CF Raffle!

Wide Open has generously donated a 2010-2011 family season pass ($128 value) to the fundraising raffle!! The season pass entitles two adults and two children to see all four puppet shows during their 2010-2011 season. Great fun!

Wide Open Theatrical Escapades is dedicated to performing entertaining shows for families. Created, written and performed in Saskatchewan for Saskatchewan people. They are processional actors dedicated to the craft of entertaining with an educational tilt. All of the puppets Wide Open performs with are designed and built by the company.

Bike Doctor donates to CF Raffle

Bike Doctor has donated a bike tune up ($50 value) to the CF Raffle!

Hot Yoga on 20th supports CF raffle

Hot Yoga on 20th has kindly provided two passes for a week of unlimited yoga classes in Saskatoon’s first dedicated hot yoga studio!

Located at the corner of 20th and Idylwyld, Hot Yoga on 20th is a purpose-built facility that offers a quiet, clean and professional place to practice yoga. Their classes are primarily hatha yoga in a room heated to about 38 degrees Celsius. Classes are suitable for all levels. You can pay per class, or buy one of their packages. Wednesday’s 10 am Karma Class is $5 for everyone, with the proceeds going to charity.

During the month of April, Hot Yoga on 20th will be donating the Wednesday Karma Class proceeds to the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (Saskatoon chapter) and each person attending the class will have their name entered in the CF raffle!

Bike Universe donates to CF Raffle

Bike Universe has donated a bike tune up to the CF Raffle!

Bike Universe was established in 1999 and is currently located on Broadway at 730A. They are authorized dealers of Brodie, KHS, GT, and Felt bikes. They are also Saskatoon's only dealer of high performance figure skates. John Mainhart and Neil Dear have a combined 41 years of experience fixing bikes, fitting skates, tuning skis and snowboards, and offering great service.

If you are the lucky winner of this raffle prize, you will just need to bring your bike and the certificate to Bike Universe for a complimentary tune up ($40 value).

Sunday Morning Organic Salon & Spa supports the CCFF!

Sunday Morning Organic Salon & Spa has very generously donated a $100 gift certificate for the fundraising raffle!

Sunday Morning is a new, locally owned and operated Salon & Spa that has been serving the community of Saskatoon and beyond since May 2008. Sunday Morning Salon & Spa offers organic hair and spa services as well as retail products with an emphasis on health and eco-friendlier options.

The local CCFF Chapter has donated the first item to be included in a fundraising raffle to also help raise funds in honour of Alivia and to support the CCFF! All proceeds will go directly to the CCFF.
